Learn, Adapt, Evolve

Understanding and revitalising our Historic Coastal Towns

IHBC South East Branch Day School and AGM

Royal Temple Yacht Club, 6 West Cliff Mansions, Ramsgate, Kent CT11 9HY
Friday 13th March 2020, 9.30am – 4.30pm

The IHBC’s South East Branch Day School will focus on issues of Historic Town Centres, and serve also as an introduction to IHBC’s theme for the 2020 Annual School in June in Brighton.

The day will include an insight into Ramsgate’s Heritage Action Zone that is evolving into themes of research, learning and teaching to underpin future regeneration. We will also be revisiting the Townscape Heritage Initiative, Dalby Square Project in Margate introduced at our 2011 Annual Branch Day School. There will be an update and review of the project which has recently been completed and incorporates multigenerational living and retrofitting.

The day will comprise a series of talks in the morning followed by the SE Branch AGM and a buffet lunch. In the afternoon there will be optional walks and site visits in Ramsgate – see over for full programme.

Cost, including lunch: £40 IHBC members, £50 non-members. Bookings can be made via Eventbrite from the link below or by completing the  booking form.

Invoices can be raised on request but advance payment via Eventbrite or by BACS/cheque (payable to IHBC South East) is preferred. Please confirm any special dietary requirements when booking.

CPD Certificates will be available.
